Event Information
We’ve got a fun-filled day planned! You are welcome onsite from 10am to enjoy the food trucks, coffee cart, music and amazing atmosphere. The event officially kicks off at 11am. This is an all-weather event so come dressed for the conditions!
Get your group together and dress up and you could win one of our amazing spot prizes! We will also have an epic raffle with lots of amazing prizes and a delicious sausage sizzle on the day so bring some cash to make things easier (limited Eftpos will be available).

Please wear your Colour Cambridge event band if you are taking part in the course. You will not be able to take part without it.

We will need to scan your e-ticket or see a copy of your tickets. You can delegate collection to another individual, as long as they can provide an image or copy of your ticket.
If you are unable to collect your wrist band (and t-shirt if you ordered one) on Saturday 17 October, please pick up on the event day between 10am-11am.
Course information
The course will be approximately 2kms around the perimeter of the Hautapu Sports Club fields. There will also be a fun obstacle course for under 6's.
What to wear
There is an optional 2026 Colour Cambridge t-shirt you can purchase through the registration link.
Alternatively, you can wear your Colour Cambridge t-shirt from previous years, or any white top!

Important
Entries to Colour Cambridge will be available to purchase until sold out.
Your account will be charged in NZD. All entries are non-refundable.
In the unlikely case of the event being cancelled, entry fees will not be refunded, but will be transferred to a donation (donation receipts are available on request by emailing admin@kidsinneed.co.nz).

Hautapu Sports Club regulations
Please respect all ground regulations: NO animals, NO smoking or vaping, and NO alcohol permitted.
Weather
This is an all-weather event (unless it is deemed unsafe to hold the event) so come dressed for the conditions!
Toilets
There will be portaloos available at the grounds and accessible toilets in the junior clubrooms.
What to bring
- A filled water bottle
- Your asthma inhaler if you're asthmatic
- Goggles or sunglasses to help protect your eyes from the colour powder
- Cash (for raffles and sausage sizzle - limited Eftpos available)
- A hat to provide protection from the sun
- A mask or bandana over your mouth, if you have concerns about inhaling the colour powder
- We highly recommend bringing a towel and even a change of clothes!
Photographs and video
Our team will be taking lots of photos and videos at the event. By purchasing tickets to the event, you are agreeing to the use of your/your family member's images in photographs and video which may be used in any publication or marketing by Kids in Need Waikato. Timing
This is an untimed event.
Personal belongings
There is no bag check service at the event. Personal belongings are the responsibility of participants.
First aid and sunscreen stations
There will be a central first aid station located in the Hautapu Sports Clubrooms.
A sunscreen station will be available.
Water
In the interests of reducing plastic waste, please bring your own pre-filled water bottle. Water will be available at the event should you need a refill.
Spot Prizes
We will have some amazing spot prizes up for grabs on the day - so get your group together and dress up!
Food and Drinks
There will be a number of food trucks onsite as well as a sausage sizzle (thanks to Property Brokers!).
Feel free to bring your own food and drink onsite - as long as it's alcohol free and you dispose of your rubbish.
