Event Information

We’ve got a fun-filled day planned! You are welcome onsite from 10am to enjoy the food trucks, coffee cart, music and amazing atmosphere. The event officially kicks off at 11am. This is an all-weather event so come dressed for the conditions!

Get your group together and dress up and you could win one of our amazing spot prizes! We will also have epic raffles and a delicious sausage sizzle on the day so bring some cash to make things easier (limited Eftpos will be available).

Course information

The course will be approximately 2kms around the perimeter of the Hautapu Sports Club fields. There will also be a fun obstacle course for under 6's.

Adult (16+years) $30
Child (6-15 years) $15
Child (under 6 years) $10

Important 

Entries to Colour Cambridge will be available to purchase until sold out or midnight Sunday 6 October (which ever comes first). Limited tickets will be available for purchase after Sunday 6 October, however we cannot guarantee your t-shirt size will be available.

Your account will be charged in NZD. The name that will appear on your statement will be TICKETS*2024 COLOU. All entries are non-refundable.

In the case of the event being cancelled, entry fees will not be refunded, but will be transferred to a donation (donation receipts are available on request by emailing admin@kidsinneed.co.nz).

Hautapu Sports Club regulations

Please respect all ground regulations: NO animals, NO smoking or vaping, and NO alcohol permitted.

Weather

This is an all-weather event (unless it is deemed unsafe to hold the event) so come dressed for the conditions!

Toilets

Toilets are located at the grounds.

Event bag pick up

Saturday 19 October
Hautapu Sports Club 
10am-4pm

We will need to scan your e-ticket or see a copy of your tickets. You can delegate collection to another individual, as long as they can provide an image or copy of your ticket. 

If you unable to collect your event bag on Saturday 19 October, please pick up your event bag on Sunday 20 October from 10am at Hautapu Sports Club.

What to bring 

- A filled water bottle
- Your asthma inhaler if you're asthmatic
- Goggles or sunglasses to help protect your eyes from the colour powder
- Cash (for raffles and sausage sizzle - limited Eftpos available)
- A hat to provide protection from the sun
- A mask or bandana over your mouth, if you have concerns about inhaling the colour powder

Photographs and video

Our team will be taking lots of photos and videos at the event. By purchasing tickets to the event, you are agreeing to the use of your/your family member's images in photographs and video which may be used in any publication or marketing by Kids in Need Waikato. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.

Timing

This is an untimed event.

Personal belongings

There is no bag check service at the event. Personal belongings are the responsibility of participants.

First aid and sunscreen stations

There will be a central first aid station and sunscreen station available at the event.

Water

In the interests of reducing plastic waste, please bring your own pre-filled water bottle. Water will be available at the event should you need a refill.
